The colour changing swabs detect protein residues which are present in human skin cells. They provide you with the means to monitor cleaning procedures first hand, on a daily basis & helps you manage your cleaning for a contamination free environment. What’s more it only takes seconds to sample a surface, with results within 10 minutes, allowing you to put corrective action in place if necessary.
A visual reading of a colour change indicates the presence of detectable levels of contamination (proteins). The faster the swab turns purple or the darker the colour, the higher the level of contamination on the surface. However, if the solution stays green, It’s clean!*
The 3M Clean-Trace swabs are ideal for integrating into any hygiene management program where risk areas can be effectively monitored. They will help reduce the risk of contamination throughout the salon/ shop/ spa.
Areas to use Saloncide Anti-Microbial Disinfectant Spray: Work surfaces, stations, chairs (including leather), combs, scissors, brushes, rollers, clips, clipper attachments, sinks, wash points, taps, sunbeds, and much much more…….
Directions for use: Spray on surfaces, tools or equipment. Leave to air dry or wipe with a clean dry cloth or paper towel after approximately *2 minutes of contact time. Please note: Any stainless steel tools, scissors or clippers must be wiped dry to prevent rusting. Spray oil on the clippers each day to prevent rusting.
*Saloncide is effective from 60 seconds of contact time on most bacteria, fungi & viruses but it is advisable to leave for up to 2 minutes if wiping off.
